Pat Puckett

Preserving Traditions

Putting his formal education together with his years of experience, Pat believes in the collaboration between traditional ranching skills and the scientific approach to sustainability using cattle to improve range conditions while producing healthy and humanely raised beef.

Passion

Pat Puckett has spent the last 50 years refining his relationship with horses. As a cowboy and rancher, horses have been more than just a means of transportation. They've been partners.

Over the course of his lifetime, Pat has had the privilege to ride with some of the best reinsmen and cowboys in the West. Early on, he developed a passion for the Californio Bridle Horse, the highest compliment you can pay to a horse. The classical origins of this heritage have given Pat a unique viewpoint and the ability to communicate effectively with horses and riders of all disciplines.

Education

Pat's formal education is in ranching. Turning grass into beef. He holds a degree in Ranch Management and is an alumni of Stan Parson's "Ranching for Profit" School.
